by Davion Wong

It is not new to anyone to download music online. But sites that offer unlimited music downloads for pennies are probably quite new. In fact, nowadays they are becoming so popular among music lovers given its convenience. No matter whether you are at home or overseas, you can get access to an online music store and start plugging into the huge libraries of unlimited music downloads.

Free download sites are not the best places to download music online simply because there are many problems associated with the files. Either you are getting corrupted files that your MP3 player like iPod or Zune cannot read or you are pulling viruses and adware onto your PC.

Ok, we are going to discuss about the genuine membership sites that offer you unlimited music downloads. These are the sites that give you complete, unedited full versions of songs, music and soundtracks. You would find the following 4 tips useful in finding the best music site.

1. Price of Lifetime Membership

Nowadays, the sites offer you a lifetime membership with unlimited access to download music. You need not pay for per song you download or be limited by the bandwidth. Many of the better sites are charging you less than $39.99 for unlimited music downloads. So be sure to avoid those that are overcharging.

2. Selection of Media Files

Even though music is what you are looking for, do not be surprised when some sites offer you movies as well. The more established sites are adding value to their services by also bringing in videos, TV shows, movies like 300, Transformers, Spiderman 3 and so on. This is truly value for money!

3. Music Genres

You do get to download music online of many genres at several popular services. Be it rock, pop, rap, jazz and so on, you are sure to find them amongst the unlimited music downloads. Anyone can find the music from the slowest beat to the fastest.

4. Quality Site Setup

This is subjective and everyone has a different yardstick but I tend to go with a strict one. Make sure that the service gives you excellent technical and customer after-sales service. The user interface needs to be simple to navigate around, and it must be able to cope with heavy traffic so that the music downloads are fast.

These are the 4 quick tips that would help you find a suitable site for music MP3s to feed your iPod, Zune or any digital portable player. With dozens of services providing unlimited music downloads, it can be quite confusing to find one. Why not read a popular review on some of the top sites at my music blog?

Better Guitar Tuning, Better Guitar Playing

November 13th, 2007
by Lyd M.

Many guitarists that are just starting out will find guitar tuning to be difficult. Guitars are only properly tuned at the factory. Once outside the factory, the wood that makes up the guitar will start to lose its shape slowly due to forces of nature like expansion and contraction. The guitar strings will start to loosen up. Therefore, ensure that you tune your guitar properly before you carry on with your guitar practice. Here are some tips that will ease guitar tuning for you.

1. Make it a habit

Even though getting your guitar tuned correctly is difficult, once you have made guitar tuning into a habit it will become easier for you. When your guitar is tuned properly, you are able to spot the mistakes that you have made and can then improve on them. A properly tuned guitar will make the whole process of learning the guitar a breeze.

2. Piano

There are many different ways to approach guitar tuning and one of the ways is to tune the guitar by using another instrument like the piano. When you use this method, you’re tuning your guitar by ear using a different instrument that can play the relevant guitar notes for you. So when you are tuning your guitar, you are trying to make, for example, the E note on your guitar sound the same as the E note on the piano. Once you think they sound the same, you do the same for the other strings.

3. Make use of a tuner

Using a battery operated tuner is another way to tune your guitar. This is very simple and easy to use. All you have to do is to turn on your tuner. Turn the dial to the note that you want to tune your guitar to. Therefore, in order to tune the E note, for example, you turn the dial on your tuner to E. Strike the E string on your guitar. Adjust the E string by tightening or loosening the string. Once the E note on your tuner lights up, you have found the correct pitch for your E string. Then you would do the same for the other strings as well. I would recommend using this method if you are really new at playing the guitar.

Guitar tuning is of sheer importance. Do not skip this step. Even though it can be discouraging in the beginning, the more you practice your guitar tuning, the more trained your ear will be. You will soon start to pick up on the fine distinctions in your guitar tuning. This will only benefit your guitar playing capabilities.

by iPhone3G.Com

If you haven’t heard of the iPhone yet, you’ve probably been living under a rock. When it was first released in July 29, 2007 it’s sales soared. Because of these amazing first sales, the daily news was flooded with all sorts of stories about this incredible device. So what’s the buzz all about?

The iPhone is not just your typical cell phone, it’s multiple media devices in one. You can not only make calls on it but you can visit the internet, you can watch widescreen movies and can listen to your favorite music because it doubles as an iPod.

The combination of these different devices in the iPhone is not only a technological marvel but it’s also convenient in the sense that you no longer have to carry multiple devices around with you. One iPhone will do the trick. This makes it a cost saving device as well.

The fact that the iPhone has all of these features is one thing, but that’s not whole picture. Along with all these incredible features, and how convenient it is, using an iPhone is like no other device. Here’s what sets the iPhone apart:

1. When you think of a typical cell phone you imagine it to have press-able buttons which allow you to dial your call. Not the iPhone. It has no buttons. It’s just has a smooth, black top surface. So how do you dial in numbers? Well, as you touch the screen, the iPhone awakens. On its screen appears big, colorful graphical buttons representing the keypad. Because the buttons are so big, it makes dialing a call a breeze.

2. Because the internet is such a huge part of today’s life, the iPhone sure comes in handy when you need to access the internet when you’re not near a computer. On the iPhone, you can view the real internet as opposed to pages formatted for mobile devices. You can easily zoom in out out and to see the different page elements closely. And because the screen on the iPhone is much bigger than a normal cell phone, it allows you to get a great visual of the page you’re looking at.

3. The iPhone also displays widescreen movies. After you load some hit movies from the iTunes store on your iPhone, you simply click on the movie you want to watch and it starts to play. Because the unit is a rectangular shape and the whole screen is the viewing area, the movie plays in a fulls screen view.

4. The last feature of the iPhone is its capability of storing and playing your favorite music. Because it has an 8 gigabyte hard drive built in, it can hold thousands of songs. This gives it the functionality of Apple’s famous iPod. To access your songs, you simply navigate to the the artist, then the album and you are ready to listen. It’s that simple.

So what are these goodies and conveniences going to cost you? Well, when the iPhone was first released, it was priced at $500-$600. After understanding the market, Apple quickly dropped the price on its 8 gigabyte version to a mere $399, making it more affordable to the masses. If this is a little much for your wallet, you can get a little better deal on a used iPhone but don’t think your going to steal it. iPhones are so hot right now that even a used one is going to cost you over $300.

If you do decide to buy an iPhone there’s one more thing you’re going to need and that’s a cellular phone plan. Currently, the iPhone has an exclusive with AT&T. Their plans start at $59.99 per month which is comparable with the other providers. If you find you have a few dollars left after getting your phone and plan set up, you may want to add some iPhone extras or accessories. Things like docking stations, cases, holsters and cables are very popular items.

Although, the iphone will set you back a little money, keep in mind that it really is multiple devices in one. If you want the convenience of having these different devices in one unit, then the iPhone will certainly deliver.
