Apple came up with an elegant and different player for one’s music files. Although it’s pleasing to the eye, more fun and presentable than the regular media player we all use, Winamp, iTunes download might be in vain. Especially if you’re looking for all of the old Winamp functions that you maybe accustomed to in which iTunes is still lacking.
In the beginning iTunes didn’t even minimize to the systray, but Apple quickly fixed that through an update. Now, one of its major flaws is the fact that iTunes has no key shortcuts. To fix this issue, you will need to look for a program called iTunesKeys that will allow you to set any shortcut you need to control the player.
In additionally, the player lacks the function to delete dead files, and remove items from the play list. To fix that issue, there’s a little program called idleTunes, developed to fix most of iTunes flaws such as: deleting files from play list, deleting all dead files, create play lists for albums or artists, delete unwanted play lists, export and import files and play lists.
So remember Apple did give us a nice player, but just doing your standard iTunes download might not be enough for you, you might need the mentioned additional programs to make your iTunes experience a more pleasurable one.

I don’t know if the market needed a new mp3 music player, but here is one that looks pretty nice and doesn’t cost a lot. Insignia Company, which is a big electronics producer, has recently introduced a new, portable mp3 music player that has an average price of $79 for 1 GB mp3 storage capacity and $99 for 2GB. Insignia dubbed this model the, “Sport NS-DA1G MP3 player.”
Though the price may be low, the sound quality on this mp3 music player is very high. The Insignia does have a few drawbacks. Supposedly it was designed for active use. However, the Insignia might have looked better with user friendly buttons, and menus. Despite all that, it’s a small mp3 player, only 1.3×3.1×0.5 inches, it has a 1.2 inch OLED screen acceptable for text and mp3 info display. The screen’s quality is compromised when it comes to displaying jpeg files.
The Insignia mp3 music player is easy to use for transferring your favorite songs form your PC to its portable memory. It does not require a specific program; it just needs to be plugged into your USB and then MP3 files can be simply copied to it as you would copy files from your PC.
