Superlative platform for Tom and Nicole, who are both attractive and involving; the problem is a drastic absence of good dialogue to fill the gaps between fight scenes. Cast includes Tom Cruise, Nicole Kidman, Thomas Gibson, Robert Prosky, Barbara Babcock, Cohn Meaney, and Rance Howard. (140 minutes, 1992)

Holiday: First rendition of Philip Barry’s play in reference to non-conformity is a delightful film. An untidy early talkie with projecting that in some cases Astor, Owsley even tops the more renowned 1938 rendition. Horton plays the identical role in both films. The Rock: General Francis Hummel is angry with the U.S. government for not honoring men he has because they died during covert operations. The unlikely team of a biological weapons expert, and a former prisoner of Alcatraz, must sneak onto the island and attempt to thwart the plot.
